With the event taking place at the modern, spacious Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, ITT Hub will offer indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, Ride & Drive and a high-profile conference, in association with Logistics UK.

Over 25 leading vehicle manufacturers will be taking part across the indoor and outdoor display areas. More than 150 vans, trucks, buses and coaches will be on display, with over 50 available to experience on two test routes.

“The Government’s recent announcement of its ten-point plan for a green industrial revolution, has had a positive impact on our event, with new signings and increased interest from the market. Our format enables visitors to see, test and experience the latest vehicles and technology over two days next summer. We are delighted to report that ITT Hub is on track to have more vehicles on display than at any other UK trade exhibition in 2021”

commented David Crawford, ITT Hub’s Commercial Vehicle Consultant. He continued:

“We are also excited to announce that Fiat Professional has confirmed its participation, a great addition to our fantastic line up of vehicle manufacturers.”

Fiat Professional has a multi-award-winning range of vans, crew and combi vehicles, from heavy-duty favourites like the Ducato and Talento, to the smaller, dynamic Doblo and city-friendly Fiorino.  Fiat Professional was also recently named ‘Best van Aftersales Manufacturer’ by What Car? Taking centre stage on their two stands at ITT Hub 2021, will be the brand’s new, fully-electric E-Ducato.

E-Ducato large LCV

Kick starting the Fiat brand’s foray into 100% electric vehicles, the E-Ducato large LCV achieves a range of between 99 and 192 miles (WLTP City*), depending on the variant. It is congestion charge and ULEZ-exempt, making it the perfect tool for businesses in both urban and suburban environments.

E-Ducato provides a choice between two battery sizes – 47kWh or 79kWh. The 47kWh battery, alongside a 90kW motor, provides a range of up to 120 miles (WLTP City*).  Its impressive charging time of zero to fully charged, takes just 2 hours and 25 minutes, enabling businesses to recharge and get back on the road in the quickest time possible.

Richard Chamberlain, Director, Commercial Vehicles, commented:

Richard Chamberlain, Director, Commercial Vehicles

“We are very excited for our new 100 per cent electric Ducato to arrive in the UK and to showcase it at a completely new forum at the Innovation & Technology in Transport show in June. It’s testament to the strength of the commercial vehicle market in these challenging times, that demand for alternative fuels continues to build and grow.

After the Government’s Green Plan announcement in November, the development of fully electric vehicles becomes of paramount importance, and Fiat Professional is ready for this challenge.

The acceleration in our digital world, following the COVID-19 pandemic, has driven growth in online retail.  Consequently, the need for a more mindful delivery system becomes ever-more important and the Fiat Professional E-Ducato is ideal for these last-mile deliveries.

Complementing a full line-up of versions, the E-Ducato offers alternative options for battery size and charging configurations to best address the users needs. E-Ducato offers the same great practicality as its diesel equivalent, with a load volume from 10 to 17m3 and payload of up to 1,900kg.

Showcasing our new E-Ducato at the ITT Hub makes perfect sense.  It represents everything that we are committing to for the future of commercial vehicle mobility. It also offers our brand an experiential platform for test driving E-Ducato whilst demonstrating the concept of electric mobility to a conversant audience.”

Other manufacturers participating include bus manufacturer Wrightbus who are expected to display their new hydrogen vehicles and Volta Trucks, who will be showing, for the first time in the UK, their new all-electric truck at ITT Hub.

Visitors can register for the event free of charge via the event website www.itthub.co.uk
