At ITT Hub (30/6 – 1/7 2021 – Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre) THELMOCO – The Electric Motorbike Company (Stand 1F outside) will be showing fully electric, road legal mopeds and scooters suitable for delivery, parking enforcement and courier work as well as for short commutes and local journeys.
Visitors will be able to test their two L1e bikes: the X-Tra and Senda which are equivalent to 50cc mopeds. They both sport two batteries each capable of up to 45 miles range (90 in total) with a top speed of 28 mph. These robust bikes are very low maintenance, cheap to run and can be fully charged in under 4 hours. They are also able to provide a charging magazine rack so that fresh batteries can be available whenever a rider returns to base. Both the Senda and the X-Tra can be equipped with top boxes of various sizes to accommodate everything from a small 24L box suitable for a helmet and paperwork through to a full sized food delivery box.
They will also be offering test rides on the L3e class Ultra which has a more powerful 4000W motor and will reach speeds of up to 50 MPH with a range of around 45 miles on its single 72V battery. The Ultra can be supplied with an 8 amp charger which will fully charge the 40Ah battery in about 5 hours or a faster 13 amp charger which will complete the charge in just over 3 hours. The Ultra can also be supplied with a magazine charging rack and equipped with the same range of top boxes as the L1e bikes.
THELMOCO will also be previewing their FARSTA L3e bike which is scheduled for delivery from Q3 and which will achieve speeds of over 90 MPH with a range of 125 miles (depending on motor configuration).
THELMOCO are also able to supply a full range of safety and rider comfort equipment from helmets to gloves, jackets and other accessories.
Managing director Perry Burns said:
“We are very excited to be showing at one of the first commercial exhibitions to be held in post Covid Britain. The rise and rise in last mile delivery during the lockdowns has provided a great opportunity for fleet operators to re-evaluate their delivery policies and we are delighted to provide a comprehensive range to facilitate emission free riding in the last mile, enforcement and commuter sectors of the market”
