A 40-year-career in public and road transport has led to a range of key roles for Mark.
The early years created an opportunity to manage a 40-vehicle fleet of buses and coaches that led to strategic role in business development serving members of the trade association Confederation of Passenger Transport UK.
A 23-year-term followed heading up an event management business that delivered more than 100 leading trade and consumer events at most of the UK’s top venues.
The opportunity to harness all of this experience by launching a brand new, forward-thinking event for the broader road transport industry, (excluding cars) that will be innovative, affordable, unique and exciting was too much to resist.
The icing on the cake is to be working with leading industry organisations and our newly-recruited, highly-experienced and talented Binswood Media team.
“Through this collaboration we will create a fresh approach to the delivery of business events in the transport sector at the venue that hosts the largest airshow in the world.
“Our industry is changing rapidly and we aim to play our part in supporting it with this exciting event.”
Peter joined the ITT Hub team after five years in a sales leadership role at Reed Exhibitions.
Here, he worked closely with exhibitors to maximise their return-on-investment from participation in some high profile events. He was part of the team that organised one of Reed Exhibition’s most complicated events.
Peter’s career has been in the media and advertising industry encompassing national press, cinema, consumer marketing data and exhibitions.
A constant theme has been working with clients to enable them to grow their businesses.
Peter has worked in diverse industries and geographies grappling with a huge range of different client issues.
The convergence of rapid technological innovation with a rapidly changing transport industry, suggests that Peter will be no less challenged by exhibitors at ITT Hub. A challenge he is really looking forward to.

David Crawford is a recognisable industry face having spent a quarter-of-a-century working in the commercial vehicle sector. His career has included a role as Advertising Director for market-leading publications Commercial Motor and Motor Transport and has successfully led his own consultancy business specialising in exhibitions and live events. David is best known for his role as Sales and Marketing Manager of the Commercial Vehicle Show taking place annually at the NEC where, until April 2019, he was responsible for exhibition space sales and event marketing.
Having contributed significantly to the development of the CV Show over the last 18 years David decided that the time had come for a fresh challenge. He says:
My plan had been to take time out to recharge the battery and tackle promised household projects. I’ve kept a watching brief on ITT Hub since its launch. When Mark Griffin shared the vision of Binswood Media to create a new and exciting business event and invited me to join the team I couldn’t resist.”
As Commercial Vehicle Consultant, David manages key supplier relationships with many of his established industry contacts in the truck and van sector where his strong reputation for loyal and efficient customer service is well known.
ITT Hub is what’s been missing; a modern dynamic event to truly address the future facing all modes of road transport. I have visited the new Farnborough venue and I am mightily impressed.
“It is state-of-the-art and provides the perfect exhibition and conference facility to best present innovation and emerging technology with the added opportunity for live vehicle demonstrations. I’m really excited at being able to use my experience to build on the impressive progress made to date.”
With a career in the events sector at a senior level with some of the UK’s largest exhibition companies, Susan’s previous roles include working on Spring Fair, Autumn Fair, Glee and latterly the award winning Automechanika Birmingham exhibition. Susan leads our multi-channel marketing campaign, working closely with exhibitors, visitors, key stakeholders, FTA teams and Event partners.
I’m really delighted to be part of the team. My target is to build the ITT Hub brands, establishing them as essential assets for the road transport sector. I’ll be engaging with our customers, stakeholders and partners to shape next year’s event, creating a community for the industry which works year-round. I’m excited to be part of a sector which will play a key part in rebuilding the economy, alongside stepping up to the huge challenges of developing and delivering new technologies for net zero emissions.”
